ROYAL EASTER SHOW CASE STUDY

The Royal Easter Show is our flagship event, where we cater for 75,000 people over 5 days. Every morning, we begin with a massive breakfast for all our volunteers as a thank you, and then provide a separate lunch for them during the day.

20-30 staff man our foodcourt at all times, with a constant stream of customers either passing through or taking a moment to rest before heading out again. The varied menu caters to everyone's tastes – Panini’s, Pizza, Pies, Salads, Sushi, Hot Roast meals, Curries, Home-made Soup, Seafood Baskets, a selection of delicious desserts – and more.

We deploy all three of our hotdog and chip caravans, where business never lets up during the day. In 2008, customers consumed 5 tonnes of chips, 7,500 hotdogs and 300 litres of tomato sauce. And that's not including the 15 outside caterers who came onboard for the show.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, our board and special guests enjoy full buffet dinners and premium service in the privacy of our VIP room.
